Orentano has two officially protected specialities, both added to Tuscany's register of traditional food products (PAT) in 2024. The bignè di Orentano is a small round pastry with a thin, delicate shell, classically filled with pastry cream — in the early 1900s the village counted some twenty pastry workshops, and its sagra has run every summer since 1968. The pizza orentanese is a thin, crisp round baked directly on the oven floor, no tray, with a golden raised edge — born in 1918 and celebrated with its own festival since 1984.
